Things people ask us most often.

Is your food halal?

We are not a halal-certified business. However, our chicken thigh is halal certified, while our chicken breast is not halal certified.

We also handle non-halal ingredients in our kitchens and ovens. Items labelled as "halal" on our ingredient guide are not necessarily made using halal-certified products, but they do not contain any ingredients that are knowingly non-halal.

We carefully review the ingredient specifications of all our products and, where we cannot fully verify an ingredient's halal status (for example, due to certain additives or fermented ingredients), we classify the item as non-halal out of caution so that customers can make an informed decision.

How can I link my SPAPP+ account to Deliveroo?

When placing an order through Deliveroo, there should be a field during checkout where you can enter your SPAPP+ number to collect points on your order.

Can I cancel or amend my order after placing it?

Unfortunately, once an order has been placed, we're unable to cancel or amend it.

If you need assistance, please contact us at support@saladproject.co.uk and we'll do our best to help.

What is the best way to contact customer support?

The best way to reach our support team is by emailing support@saladproject.co.uk.

How do I order catering?

You can place a catering order directly through our catering platform.

Alternatively, you can email support@saladproject.co.uk and we'll be happy to assist.

Why were 100 points deducted from my account if I still paid full price for my salad?

You earn 1 point for every £1 spent. Once you reach 100 points, these are automatically converted into a £10 voucher, which will appear in your SPAPP+ account.

The next time you place an order, you'll be able to redeem the £10 voucher at checkout.

Is the chicken you use free-range?

We use Red Tractor-certified chicken, which means it is responsibly produced, safe, and fully traceable from farm to fork. Our chicken is sourced from Poland.

We always strive to source the best ingredients possible within the realities of operating our business. While we'd love to use British free-range chicken exclusively, the significant cost increases would make this difficult for both us and our customers. We hope that, in the future, free-range sourcing becomes more accessible for businesses like ours.

Do you cater for allergies and intolerances?

We take allergies very seriously. However, all of our food is prepared in kitchens that handle all 14 major allergens and is served from open salad bars.

While we take every precaution to minimise cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any dish is completely allergen-free.

If you have an allergy, please speak to a team member before ordering and we'll help you identify the safest options available.
