About Us

Obsessed with the 5 star experience

The beauty in the detail. The tiny touches. The simple things done great. So naturally, when it came to our first venture, we decided to focus on the place it’s hardest to get a 5 star experience: grabbing a convenient bite to eat. Poor service, awful atmosphere, bad for the environment or just plain bad for you. Frankly everything delicious seemed to come at a big cost one way or another.

Wanting to bring London the salad bar it deserves, we have been busy trying to find a remedy to the issues we faced as consumers. We have taken our combined know-how in the hospitality industry to try and recreate the experience of a great restaurant crammed into a grab-and-go.

Welcome to The Salad Project. Looking forward to getting you onboard!

Our Chef

Clementine

In order to deliver on the promises made above, selecting the right curator for the menu was paramount to us.

Staying ahead of food trends whilst matching our food ethos was the name of the game. We found that and more when we partnered up with Clementine.

Clementine boasts an extraordinary background that made her the ideal chef for this project. As a trained nutritionist, a personal trainer and a Ballymaloe Cookery School graduate, Clementine effortlessly strikes the balance between health and flavour.

Whatever you're looking for in our menu, Clementine has you covered.

P.S. her cookies are pretty unbelievable too. Check her out on @clementines_kitchen.

About Us

It's what we do

People always say we're in a people industry, but then completely ignore the word people.

Creating excellent experiences is what drives us on a daily basis. It's what we're trying to build with The Salad Project. But why should this be reserved to customers only?

With all the humility in the world, we're just trying to build a happy workplace which, from experience, can be a little too rare in this industry.

Happiness is contagious.
Happy customers = happy team members = happy customers!

UberEats Restaurant of the Year, 2022

26,000 participants
10 finalists
1 winner!

We quit our jobs in November 2019 with the intention to open The Salad Project in April 2020. A year which needs no introduction to anybody.

After 18 painful months, and our concept finally saw the light of day.

14 months later we were crowned winners of the UberEats UK Restaurant of the Year Awards. This made a huge difference in the countdown to our new restaurant which opened in Bank.

It's fair to say, we're immensely proud. Thanks to Clementine Haxby and to our entire team, present and past, who make the dream work on a daily basis. ❤️

The sky's the limit, The Salad Project!
